Rotate PDF

Client-side only

Your file never leaves your browser. This page has no upload endpoint and its Content-Security-Policy blocks every outgoing connection — open your Network tab to confirm nothing is sent anywhere.

What this tool does

Rotate PDF turns an entire document, or a specific list of pages, by 90, 180, or 270 degrees. It runs entirely in your browser tab using a PDF library — there's no upload and no server. This is a quick, number-based tool: if you'd rather see thumbnails and rotate pages individually while looking at them, use Organize PDF instead.

How to use it

  1. Drop a PDF onto the box above.
  2. Choose whether to rotate every page or a specific list.
  3. Pick an angle and click Rotate PDF to download the result.

Limitations

Password-protected PDFs are rejected rather than silently skipped. Rotation is applied as a page-level flag the same way any PDF viewer displays it — the underlying content isn't redrawn, so there's no quality loss.

Frequently asked questions

Can I rotate only some pages?
Yes. Choose "Rotate specific pages" and enter a page list like 1,3,5-8. Pages you don't list are left exactly as they are.
Does this need visual thumbnails?
No — this tool applies one rotation to a page or set of pages by number, which is faster for a quick fix. For rotating individual pages differently while looking at them, use Organize PDF instead.
