What this tool does
Sign PDF lets you draw a signature with your mouse or finger, or type your name in a serif/sans style, then click on the page to place it. It renders the page as an image so you can see exactly where the signature will land, then bakes it into a real PDF page using a PDF library — entirely in your browser tab.
How to use it
- Drop a PDF onto the box above and pick the page to sign.
- Draw or type your signature.
- Click on the page preview where it should go, adjust the size, then click Place Signature & Download.
Limitations
This is a visual signature image, not a cryptographic digital signature — see the notice above. Password-protected PDFs are rejected rather than silently skipped. One signature is placed on one page per run; sign multiple pages by running the downloaded result back through the tool.
Frequently asked questions
Is this a legally binding digital signature?
No. This places an image of a signature onto the page — visually identical to signing a printout and scanning it. It is not a cryptographic digital signature (PKI-based, using a certificate that verifies signer identity and detects tampering). If you need that, use software built for certificate-based signing.
Can I sign more than one page?
This tool places one signature on one page per run. For multiple pages, download the result and run it through again on the same file.
