What this tool does
Split PDF breaks one PDF into several, three ways: define custom page ranges (each becomes its own file), chop the document into equal chunks of N pages, or pull out a specific set of pages into one new file. Everything runs locally in your browser tab using a PDF library — there's no upload, no server, and no account. If a split produces more than one file, they arrive together in a ZIP.
How to use it
- Drop a single PDF onto the box above.
- Choose a split mode and fill in the ranges, chunk size, or page list.
- Click Split PDF. One output downloads directly; several download as a ZIP.
Limitations
Password-protected PDFs are rejected rather than silently skipped. There's no artificial page-count limit — very large documents are bounded only by your device's available memory.
